I've always wanted to learn how to make jewelry. As a kid, I owned a box of trinkets filled with charms from A to Z, ROYGBIV, and more. Little did I know that I'd still find myself excited about spending time finding gems that tickle my soul. And so, on the last day before I turn 30, I gifted myself a coin ring I personally made.
What a way to wrap up my 20s: a 20-euro cent coin to represent everything I've been through and the memories I'm keeping dearly. These were the toughest years of my life by far—from losing family and a dear friend to being blindsided by the most unexpected breakup scene only made for movies. Oh, it stings; that still hurts.
I've let out a couple of deep sighs while writing this post, with thoughts of calling it a day and never getting this out.
Paused.
I'm back.
If one day you get to see these ramblings, it means that I've come a long way in reminding myself that I am more than enough—I am worth it.
There's so much love to give, and remember: you are loved.
